Member of the month – Ana Posch

We are thrilled to honor Ana as our Member of the Month! Ana is not only a good example of motivation and dedication, but also a real team player. She attends our 9am class almost every day and always shows her impressive passion for CrossFit. She also often stays after training to work on her weaknesses and improve her skills. Ana’s enthusiasm and commitment are inspiring for all of us.

Congratulations, Ana! You are a shining example and we are happy to have you in our community.

1 Why CrossFit Wädenswil?

I chose CF Wädi because of various factors such as the location (close to my home), the good reputation of the coaching team, the high-quality facilities, the pleasant community atmosphere and the training times that suit my preferences and goals.

2. how long have you been training with us?

I have been a member since May 2020.

3. describe how you see CrossFit Wädenswil.

To me, CFW is a well-organized and equipped CrossFit box with very well-trained coaches who not only demonstrate a solid knowledge of CrossFit principles and techniques during class, but also emphasize a strong sense of community and support among participants, creating a positive and inspiring atmosphere. Members often share a sense of camaraderie, motivate each other during training and celebrate successes.
The community aspect promotes motivation and makes the whole atmosphere more pleasant.

4. what are your goals in CorssFit?

CrossFit Games in my age group!
CrossFit can be particularly rewarding if you see tangible goals in your strength, endurance and general fitness level. My successes reflect dedication and hard work. I’m just enjoying the journey and celebrating my progress!

5. what is your favorite CrossFit movement?

The most enjoyable discipline depends on your personal interests and goals. I like challenges, even with movements that are not necessarily “my favorite”. But let’s take “Toes to Bar”, for example – I hope to finally manage that and execute “Double Unders” consistently.

6. which movement is a no-go for you?

It is important to learn all disciplines and movements. Besides, we can NEVER say NO, when it comes to the workout of the day (WOD) we have no other choice. But let’s put it this way, I’m not doing a happy dance in heavy Olympic weightlifting.

7. if you could wish yourself better in one discipline, what would it be?

All gymnastic movements, especially Butterflies, Bar and Ring Muscle Ups. I dream of being able to do them. It’s both challenging and soooo rewarding.

8. a margarita on the beach or a chilled protein shake after training?

How about a protein shake on the beach?
Joke! I don’t drink alcohol, so the answer is clear.

9. you can be someone else for a day, who would you like to be?

I would be the best version of myself for a day and seize every opportunity and experience that came my way.

10. what else would you like to tell about yourself so that the members can learn more about you…

I am a dedicated mom and navigate the beautiful chaos of being a parent with love and resilience. Beyond my role as a mother, you can often find me in the exciting world of CrossFit, where I challenge myself physically and mentally. I am also deeply connected to the world of art and photography, capturing the beauty in everyday moments. The balance between these aspects of my life brings fulfillment and a great sense of identity.
