Mira-Dinca- Member of the Month

Mira, you are our member of the month August!!

Mira is the most colorful athlete we have in our community. Always comes to late because of the bus delay but brights our day up with her colorful outfits and big smile. Always positive, always in a good mood making jokes about everything around.
We are super happy to have Mira in our community!

What or who brought you to CrossFit Wädenswil?

I moved to Horgen last year so I had to find myself a new gym, closer to the house. Checked a few boxes around but they were not my style, so I came to Wädi hoping it will be “the one” and it was love at first sight.

In three words, how would you describe yourself to a stranger?

Funny, generous, ambitious.

The Motto or Phrase you live by?

You can’t have the rainbow without a little rain.

What are your short term and long term goals?

Short term goal is working on my weaknesses, so I can advance to the RX category. This will probably transform into the long term one :))

Weightlifting or Gymnastics? Why?

Definitely gymnastics. For the simple reason that I suck at weightlifting (but working hard to fix that)

What CrossFit gear you can’t live without?

My shaker. I’m that crossfiter who stops to  drink water even in a 10 min workout.

What is the next place on your travel bucket list?

Mallorca, Spain. I’m a fan of palm trees, cocktails and blue waters. But first, Swiss Throwdown and Suburb Battle, then I will fully enjoy this vacation.

What is one thing most people don’t know about you?

I was a smoker until the end of last year, but I stopped when I decided to take Crossfit more seriously

If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would you choose and why?

I choose Heber Cannon, from Buttery Bros. His life revolves around famous crossfitters and he’s all about having fun, travelling, working out and eating. I think I would have a great day. Let him struggle with my snatch :))

The coaches! I love them! And the protein shakes

A big thank you to you Mira. Nice to have you in our community
